I keep looking at a blank screen and I have no idea what to type..A ton of time has gone by and heaps have happened but I can’t seem to put it on a page. Then again, does it matter either way? I don’t know.
So where to begin? Random: is usually my best bet. So, I have been thinking about how awesome the ability to rewind or pause live TV is..or even better..the ability to record shows without attempting to figure out how in the hell to work a video recorder.
But..are we able to turn such a killer idea as “no commercials, watch what and when I want” TV into a pain in the ass? How many of ya’ll know the guy that is stressed..not from work or stuff going on in the world..the guy is stressed about having to go home and watch EVERYTHING he has recorded. The guy who gets home peels off his “Work Clothes” to be “forced” to put on his “hey, I got this shirt at a Skid Row concert and I swear jorts are commin’ back” TV attire. The guy that is like an artist with the remote letting his fingers dance across the keys as he deletes, FF and is able to record all with one hand. This artist of the TV knows that when FF through commercials you must hit play 1 msec before the show actually starts. As this mad scientist can understanding the exact tempo of a commercial flow and have the math skills to know how to cram one more show into the night so it is one more to do he can check off the list.
I admit I stress when I have to bust out three “Whale Wars” in a row..but I do have the on going battle of “SpongeBob” and “iCarly”..the never ending quest of who will take up the most space…
